COVID-19, better known as Coronavirus, first appeared in Wuhan, China on December 31, 2019. The disease appears to have originated from an animal (zoonosis), but the origin has not been confirmed.
Barrier gestures are universal.
The 5 primary "BARRIER" gestures are:
Wash your hands very regularly
Cough or sneeze into your elbow or into a tissue
Greet without shaking hands, stop kissing
Use and dispose of single-use tissues
Avoid gatherings, limit travel and contact.

The state has put in place regulations to be followed to prevent the spread of the virus.
This is the secondary prevention method implemented by the State are:
- The closure of unimportant schools and trades
- Do not leave home either without proof
- Travel from home to work when telework is not possible
- Make essential purchases in authorized local shops
- Travel for child care or to help vulnerable people, or for a compelling family reason, duly justified, on the strict condition of respecting barrier
- Get out of the house either only to do physical exercise only on an individual basis, around the home and without any gathering.

Prevention tools are also there to keep the population informed, such as the media and more particularly the press, television and even social networks.
The first people to contract the virus went to Wuhan market in China's Hubei Province. The disease appears to have originated from an animal (zoonosis), but the origin has not been confirmed. At the beginning the virus remained only in China then it is spread in Asia and in Europe so that in the end 170 countries / regions are affected. As of today, there are 18 963 deaths worldwide and 425 493 confirmed cases worldwide. In France, the number of deaths is increasing sharply: 1 100 deaths as well as 22 637 confirmed cases.
Countries are trying to stop the spread of the virus by closing borders and quarantining people directly. Countries are also trying to track people down for quarantine faster and trying to be able to work on the virus and it's treatment.
Nigeria, the main producer of hydrocarbons on the continent, is the country most vulnerable by this sharp fall in prices. Oil production there accounts for more than half of government revenues. The pandemic has brought oil prices down sharply. A disaster for many African countries, dependent on this windfall. Coronavirus and oil prices are putting Nigeria in trouble. The Covid-19 crisis could further exacerbate this imbalance, foreign exchange reserves having dropped markedly, from $ 198 billion in 2014 to $ 63.8 billion at the end of 2019 and the start of the health crisis.
