C'est dommage que ton projet ne soit pas plus "personnalisé" avec des textes rédigés par toi au lieu d'avoir été "copiés" sur un site ou rédigés par quelqu'un qui est bilangue!

Ebola virus

The Ebola virus is the infectious agent that causes fevers, often hemorrhagic, in humans and other primates. It is of the origin of historic epidemics notable for their magnitude and severity. Transmission between humans takes place primarily through direct contact with bodily fluids. Ebola virus disease is characterized by a sudden rise in fever accompanied by physical fatigue, muscle pain, headache and sore throat. Then an often bloody diarrhea begins, vomiting, rashes, and kidney and liver failure. Internal and external hemorrhages then occur, followed by death from cardio-respiratory shock in 50 to 90% of cases. The hemorrhagic signs can be very rough, like conjunctival hemorrhages. They can also be profuse with hematemesis and melæna type. The contagiousness of the patients is therefore very variable although 5 to 10 viral particles of Ebola are enough to trigger an extreme amplification of the virus in a new host.

Ecoepidemiology:

Little is known about the natural cycle of the virus in nature, or its origin. We know that it affects some great apes, antelopes and bats.
